What we'll do
THIS IS A WORKSHOP TAKING PLACE AT THE FSA BEDFORDSHIRE ROADSHOW - YOU MUST HAVE A ROADSHOW TICKET TO ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP! In this session we will explore tarps in basic setups, using various useful knots, hitches & bends that are easy to untie (really important when working with thin cord under tension) and easy to adjust. There will be several really useful tips and tricks to incorporate in to your tarp use and sessions. Once we have looked at setting up a basic tarp, we will move on to setting up a large base camp tarp, including easy ways to get your tarp high and tight, and ways to make your rigging slick and safe. This is a fully hands on session which lots of practice to get those knots correct. We might even make it a bit fun (smiley)

After taking part in a 3 day Bushcraft practitioners course early that reignited my love of the woodlands and all things Bushcraft. Currently a senior instructor for Dave Watson (Woodland Survival Crafts) as well as running RedOakBushcrafts. Whats not to like :-)
