Supporting Children's Anxiety block mentored by Study United FC

What we'll do

This 2 hour workshop looks at what anxiety is, how it feels in our bodies and how it may present itself in behaviours children display. We will look at simple brain development and how anxiety affects the brain, explaining some of these behaviours. We will share techniques, strategies and activities which parents/carers can try at home to support a child's anxiety, while supporting their emotional resilience. We will address the role of co-regulation in enabling a child to be able to self-regulate in the future.
