A summary
Packed with creative dance sessions and inspiring workshops led by guest organisations, along with fun arts and crafts activities the Let’s Dance Holiday Club offers a vibrant, energetic, and imaginative environment where young people can learn, move, and express themselves through dance. DanceEast provides a nutritious lunch, healthy snacks, and drinks each day. It’s the perfect opportunity for children and young people to make new friends, boost their confidence, and develop exciting new skills in a supportive and dynamic setting. "I was excited but nervous to come to holiday club as it was my first time and I didn't know anyone. I get worried and shy but it was nice to go to breakfast club because once I met with others in my group I felt better. All the staff were really kind and nice too, I haven't done any dance classes before so I was scared I wouldn't know what to do, but everything was explained clearly so I could have fun. It was good that everyone could join in, even if they needed extra help or had their own support to help them. The food was yummy and the arts and crafts was fun too. I felt happy and proud when we performed at the end of the week." - HAF Child

ACCESS AND INCLUSION
We’re committed to making Holiday Club accessible for as many young people as possible. Here are some of the things we do to make it an inclusive space: - A welcome tour drop-in will be available on Friday 1st August from 11.00am-13.00pm at DanceEast. This is a chance for young people to visit our building with their guardians, get familiar with the space and ask any questions they may have. No need to book, just drop in. - A visual story will be available for Holiday Club. This includes pictures of the building and our friendly staff. - Support Workers: We’re grateful to receive funding from Activities Unlimited to include support workers from Leading Lives and Indigo Opportunities in our Holiday Club Team. These support workers help assist our young people in the studio and at mealtimes and can also support with any personal care needs. We also have brilliant assistant dance artists that can provided 1-2-1 support to young people. - Quiet Space: This is where our young people can have a breather with some fidget toys, blankets and bean bags if things get a little too much. They’re welcome to use this space any time. The accessibility of Let’s Dance! Holiday Club has been described by guardians as: - “Absolutely perfect.” - "I wish their were more provisions like yourselves." - "This is the only respite we get so we are eternally grateful." - “I am 100% confident that my child is well cared for and able to express herself if she needs to.” Please note in the SEND checklist above, all provision categorised as 'MAYBE' is available. However, there is limited capacity and all additional support will need to be discussed prior to booking.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
