A summary
Our club follows the Playwork principles. Activities are child initiated and child led with children being free to choose activities and resources from the large selection available. We have use of the school field and our own patio area for outdoor play activities. We encourage the children to play outside, whatever the weather! There will be the opportunity to take part in art and craft sessions, football and other ball games, bike riding, bug hunts, den building, construction, cooking, board games and lots of other fun activities! We provide snacks and a cooked meal at lunchtime. Please contact us to discuss any issues you feel we should know about so that we can work with you and your child to ensure they have the best possible experience.

The Cabin Crew Out of School Club
Fun-packed holiday club for children age 4-11
Welcome to The Cabin! We are a fun kids club for children of primary school age, with a variety of activities both indoor and out. We have great facilities in a purpose built 'cabin' within the grounds of Sidegate Primary School in Ipswich. We benefit from having use of the school field for outdoor play activities. We welcome children from any primary school into our Holiday Club. The Cabin Crew has been awarded grant funding from Suffolk County Council to deliver sessions for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF), for children in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM), during the Easter school holidays in 2024. We welcome a visit from you prior to your child starting and this can be arranged by contacting us during open hours. A visit also gives us the opportunity to discuss your childs needs and any special requirements they may have. Our holiday club provides nutritional healthy food and aims to promote the education of health and nutrition to children.
Useful Information
PLEASE NOTE - this is the link to book for those families that receive benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM). Sessions run from 10am-3pm. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for sports and messy play. Please make sure your child brings a water bottle and has suncream on prior to attending as we hope to be spending a lot of time outside!
