Summer HAF: Snow Camp | Girls Only block mentored by Leicester City in the Community
What we'll do
Join us over the Summer period at Tamworth Snow Dome for a Snow Camp experience! The activity will take place during August on TBC dates. Activity will be based at Tamworth Snow Dome, participants will meet at King Power Stadium and be transported to and from Tamworth Snow Dome. Participants will take part in a range of activities themed around Snow Sports, led by a talented and experienced team at Snow Dome. The Snow Camp programme introduces young people to Snow Sports while providing mentorship and life skills. On the First Tracks course, young people will engage in a combination of snowboarding or skiing lessons, personal development activities, and team-building exercises. Young people receive beginner-level lessons in skiing or snowboarding, learning the basics such as how to control their movements, navigate the slopes, and to stay safe. In addition to physical training, young people take part in workshops designed to build confidence, resilience, and teamwork. These workshops focus on subjects like communication, goal-setting, and leadership. Sessions will be targeted for girls only!
