What we'll do
when your child arrives, we will play a few relaxation drama games to let everyone get associated. We will do a body warm up, stretch, circuit's, corner work and learn a dance. After a break we will play some drama games, work on voice technique and physical techniques. After a balanced hot lunch and delicious dessert, we’ll do some arts n crafts or vocal coaching and learn a song. Lastly we finish with some Acro drills and some fun work outs and partner lifts or holds. Before we cool down or play a relaxing game before heading home

WELCOME TO JEWEL PERFORMING ARTS Established in 2010 by sisters Jade & Gemma wanting to create an inclusive Musical Theatre school. Offering classes in many different dance genres, musical theatre and vocals. Starting as young as 2 years old and up to adult classes, Jewel Performing Arts offers the ISTD syllabus in Tap dance, Modern/ Lyrical/ Contemporary/ Jazz and Ballet along with freestyle classes such as Street dance.
Description of our workshops
Our Holiday Musical Theatre Club is designed to give children aged 5–12 a fun, creative, and confidence-building experience through the exciting world of musical theatre. Over the course of the club, children will explore the key elements of performance—singing, dancing, and acting—in a playful and supportive environment. Through games, warm-ups, and guided rehearsals, students will learn how to use their voices, bodies, and imaginations to bring characters and stories to life. Whether they’re new to the stage or already love to perform, every child will have the chance to grow in confidence, make new friends, and experience the joy of teamwork. The club will focus on building core performance skills, including: • Expressive movement and basic choreography • Vocal clarity, projection, and simple singing techniques • Character-building and storytelling through drama • Working together as part of an ensemble The week ends with a fun and relaxed performance for family and friends, giving each child their moment to shine and celebrate everything they’ve achieved. By the end of the club, children will: • Gain confidence performing in front of others • Develop musical theatre skills in a fun, age-appropriate way • Improve coordination, listening, and communication • Learn how to work creatively as part of a team • Experience the excitement of putting on a show Our club is all about having fun while learning, and inspiring a love of the performing arts that can last a lifetime!
