A summary
Our HAF Summer Programme runs from 9:30am to 1:00pm, providing children aged 5–7 with a fun, safe and nurturing environment where they can make new friends, build confidence and enjoy a wide range of exciting activities. Each day begins with a warm welcome and a healthy snack to help children settle in comfortably. Children will then enjoy creative arts and crafts, imaginative play, sensory activities, themed experiences and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn through play. We provide at least one hour of physical activity each day, including movement games, dancing, obstacle courses and active outdoor play, helping children stay active while having fun. Children's emotional wellbeing is supported through storytelling, mindfulness activities, messy play and opportunities to develop social skills, with sessions supported by a qualified Child and Adolescent Mental Health Coach. Freshly prepared, nutritious meals that meet school food standards are provided daily, and children are encouraged to develop healthy eating habits through fun food-related activities, growing herbs and vegetables and learning about making healthy choices. With changing weekly themes and a variety of engaging activities, every session offers something new, ensuring children enjoy a happy, memorable and enriching summer holiday experience.

World of Wonder Day Nursery is a nurturing early years setting providing high-quality childcare in a safe and stimulating environment. We support children’s learning and wellbeing through play, creativity, physical activities and enriching experiences, while working closely with families and the local community to help every child thrive.
Session Information
Session Information Times: 9:30am – 1:30pm Who can attend? Children aged 5–7 years (Reception - Year 2) Food and Drink A healthy snack and a freshly prepared nutritious meal, meeting school food standards, are provided each day. Drinking water is available throughout the session. Activities Children will enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities including: Arts and crafts Sensory and messy play Imaginative and role play activities Outdoor games and physical activities Storytelling and wellbeing sessions Weekly themed experiences What should my child bring? Comfortable clothing suitable for active play Appropriate footwear A coat or sun hat depending on the weather Sun cream depending on the weather Any required medication (to be handed to staff on arrival) Additional Support Our sessions are designed to be inclusive and welcoming. Please let us know of any dietary requirements, allergies, medical conditions or additional needs when booking so that we can support your child fully.
