A summary

This summer, Devas Club is proud to deliver an exciting and inclusive HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme designed to engage, support, and inspire young people aged 8–12 from across our community. Running throughout the summer holidays, our project offers a wide range of enriching activities including sports, arts, music, drama, trips, and workshops, all aimed at promoting physical wellbeing, creativity, and personal development. In addition to fun and engaging sessions, we provide free, nutritious meals each day to ensure every young person has access to healthy food during the holidays. Our programme is specifically designed to support families eligible for free school meals, while also being open to a wider group of local children. With a safe, supportive environment and passionate youth workers, Devas Club’s HAF project is committed to making summer unforgettable – building confidence, encouraging new friendships, and helping every young person thrive.

Summer HAF Project – FAQs

When are the sessions? Sessions run Monday to Thursday, from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Where will the sessions take place? All sessions will be held at Devas Club, unless it's a scheduled trip day. Will there be trips? Yes! We’ll be going on one exciting trip each week. Can my child attend a trip only? To join a trip, your child must attend at least two other sessions during the same week. Is food provided? Yes, a free, healthy lunch will be provided each day. Who can attend? The programme is open to children and young people aged 8–12. Priority is given to those eligible for free school meals. Can children with additional needs attend? We welcome children with additional needs; however, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children who require 1-to-1 support, as we do not have the staffing capacity to meet those needs safely.
