A summary
We’ll be running an inspiring Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme over the Summer holidays. Our vibrant Shanklin hub space is designed to spark creativity, encourage play and build connections among young people, offering a wide variety of exciting activities for all interests and abilities with something for everyone to enjoy in this inclusive, creative environment. At the heart of our Shanklin venue is a fully equipped music rehearsal space and recording studio, complete with drum kit, bass guitar, guitars, keyboard, microphones and recording equipment. Whether young people are just starting out or are already passionate musicians, they’ll enjoy opportunities to play, practice and even lay down some tracks. Alongside the music sessions, we offer a dedicated arts and crafts area, where imaginations can flourish. From painting and drawing or crafting, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, creating a welcoming space to relax, express themselves and learn new skills. For those who enjoy games and a bit of physical activity, we have a table tennis zone and a variety of board games and group activities, offering a perfect mix of fun and friendly competition. We are also pleased to announce that we will be offering Videography sessions with the Isle of Wight Film School on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and Creative Photography sessions with InFocus every Thursday. To keep energy levels high, we’ll be providing a nutritious shared meal as part of the programme, along with snacks and drinks throughout the day. MENU: 4th Sausage & Mash, Beans/peas 5th Tomato & Basil Pasta, Salad 6th Spaghetti Bolognaise, Garlic Bread 7th Fish Fingers & Chips, Beans/ Peas 17th Mac and Cheese, Garlic Bread 18th Pizza & Wedges, Peas 19th Baguettes, Crudities 20th Chicken Nuggets & Chips, Beans/ Peas
