What we'll do
Nutri Troops SEN Animation Workshop (Ages 5–11) - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WHO REQUIRE ONE TO ONE SUPPORT. Taking place at Willows School, Fishermead, Milton Keynes (MK6 2LP), this exciting workshop provides a supportive and engaging environment where participants can explore their creativity, build confidence and make new friends. Led by an experienced SEN teacher, participants will create their own animations and comic-book characters inspired by the colourful world of Nutri Troops. Through drawing, storytelling and hands-on activities, children will develop their imagination, communication skills and self-expression in a way that is fun, accessible and tailored to a range of learning styles. The workshop will also be supported by Peter Bakare, 2012 Team GB Olympian and creator of Nutri Troops. Peter's inspiring journey and passion for helping young people will encourage participants to dream big, work together and discover their own unique talents. What participants will gain: ✨Create their own animation and comic-book characters. ✨Develop creativity, storytelling and communication skills. ✨Build confidence and self-esteem in a supportive environment. ✨Enjoy fun Nutri Troops-themed activities and challenges. ✨Make new friends and work as part of a team. Participants will enjoy a healthy breakfast, a nutritious mid-morning snack and a delicious hot lunch freshly prepared by MK Cookery School. Important Allergy Information: Please note that while we do our best to provide a safe environment, we cannot guarantee that other children won’t bring food containing nuts, and the kitchens we use may handle nuts. If your child has a severe allergy (e.g., to nuts), we can offer a £5 Sainsbury’s voucher or provide a £5 reimbursement so you can send a suitable packed lunch. ⚠️ Please cancel places if not able to attend. This enables another eligible child to take up the opportunity. ⚠️ Bookings that are not attended and for which we are not able to contact you, remaining bookings may be cancelled.
