What we'll do
Come and join us for these 8 FREE sessions where young people can learn filmmaking skills with professional filmmakers. During the workshops the young people will take part in working together on a film that they will help to write, act, film, and edit. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to be creative and share ideas and skills with other young people. There is a maximum of 30 places available at each workshop. It is preferred if you child can attend every session due to making a film over the 8 sessions. Session 1 will consist of coming up with ideas for the film. Script writing, learning about shot sizes and camera movement, filming vocabulary, acting for the screen, discussing props, costumes and roles people wish to undertake. You do NOT have to appear in front of the camera if you don't wish. Session 2- Filming and Editing Session 3 - Filming and Editing Session 4 - Filming and Editing Session 5 - Filming and Editing and a screening for family. We encourage you to come to as many sessions as possible, but you are also welcome to pop along to a few sessions too.
