Kerry
The original Strong Girl!
Kerry brings passion, experience and genuine care to everything she does within Strong Girls. Originally aspiring to be a children’s teacher, her journey came full circle when she became a full-time coach and began shaping young people’s confidence through movement and community. As co-owner of CrossFit Iron Duke since 2014, Kerry has built an incredible environment where people of all ages can thrive, from coaching CrossFit Kids and Teens to supporting members as an Adaptive Athlete Trainer and Pre & Post Natal Coach. But what truly sets Kerry apart is her commitment to helping young people grow, not just physically, but in confidence, resilience and self-belief. Through Strong Girls, she creates a supportive, empowering space where girls can try new things, celebrate their achievements, and feel part of something special, whether that’s mastering a new skill, making friends, or simply finding the confidence to be themselves.
Kaylene Cronje
Bubbly, confident and enthusiastic
The first summer I helped with Strong Girls, I walked in feeling shy and unsure what to expect. But as soon as I stepped into a room full of bright, amazing girls, something shifted. I saw parts of my younger self in them-the quiet moments, the self-doubt, the untapped confidence, and I knew how important it was for them to see strong, real role models. So I made a choice to show up fully: to be encouraging, positive and unapologetically myself. Over the weeks, I watched these girls grow in confidence, build genuine friendships and begin to believe in who they are. Whether we were getting creative, trying something new, or simply cheering each other on, I saw them become braver, kinder and more self-assured. Being part of that journey and helping create a space where they feel safe to be themselves is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Strong Girls, Strong Minds, Strong Futures
What Your Daughter Will Gain! At Strong Girl Squad, this is so much more than just keeping busy over the holidays, it’s about helping girls feel strong, confident, and proud of who they are. Through fun, supportive sessions, they’ll build real physical strength and fitness while developing a positive, empowering relationship with exercise. Each activity is designed to gently stretch them beyond their comfort zone, helping grow self-belief, resilience, and the confidence to tackle challenges they may face. We also focus on the bigger picture of wellbeing, helping girls understand how nutrition, rest and mental health all work together so they can feel their best every day. And it doesn’t stop there… they’ll get hands-on in the kitchen too, preparing and cooking delicious, healthy lunches that spark an interest in food, independence, and making positive choices. By the end of the programme, girls don’t just leave fitter, they leave more confident, more connected, and equipped with skills that will stay with them long after summer ends.
