What we'll do
Newham Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme Notice to all parents: All Children must arrive for 10am, as they will then be escorted by staff members to Central Park Primary School at 10:30. All children will arrive back at Star Park by 1:45pm and ready to be collected by 2pm. Here it is! The ultimate safe, exciting, and enriching holiday experience for your child, all right here in Newham! Our Newham HAF programme is packed with themed days designed to keep your child engaged, inspired, and smiling, all while enjoying healthy meals and snacks, completely free for eligible families. ✨ What’s on? • Creative Arts & Gunk Days — Messy fun with painting, slime-making, and crafts! Children can unleash their imagination and proudly take their artwork home. • Music & Dance Days — Try drumming, singing, DJ workshops, and dance challenges , perfect for boosting confidence and self-expression. • Sports & Team Challenge Days — Football, multi-sports, obstacle courses, and team games to keep children moving and making new friends. • Water Play & Splash Days — Water fights, slip and slide fun, and cool-down activities on hot days! • Surprise Theme Days — Carnivals, talent shows, dress-up fun, and special guest workshops to make every day exciting. Food & Snacks • Fresh, healthy lunch provided every day, all allergies and dietary needs are carefully checked. • Nutritious snacks offered throughout the day to keep children energised and happy. Safety & Care • All staff are fully trained, qualified, and DBS checked, wearing bright red uniforms so they’re easy to spot. • Every child will receive a wristband on entry for added safety. • Secure sign-in and sign-out procedures to give you complete peace of mind. Timings • Runs daily from 10.00 – 2:00pm, perfect for busy parents. Children are encouraged to be creative, explore, and take their masterpieces home at the end of each day! SOUL UK
Social organisation for unity & leisure
SOUL has been working with the community since 2003. Inspired and set up by local youths, it set off to tackle the day to day issues faced by the community in London Borough of Tower Hamlets and unlock the potential to undertake the most amazing transformations. We aim to tackle unemployment, low educational attainment, deprivation, poverty, serious youth violence, poor health and well-being and social exclusion. Many of our programmes are community led, empowering and resourcing the means to renew hope, inspire confidence and improve skills. We work with many partners and stakeholders as we believe in multi agency partnership work to achieve improving and shaping a better society. Being community facing our top priority and principle, we are always adapting and open to evolve with the needs of the community. Thanks to our team of volunteers, staff, and board we are able to stay on top of meeting the needs in such a fast paced environment.
SEND
HAF clubs are inclusive for children with low levels of SEN and/or disability, who can participate in universal settings. We also have specialist programmes for those children and young people who require specialist support. Each Club will assess their suitability to provide sufficient support, based on your child/young person’s needs, on a case-by-case basis. Email us for any queries on HAF@newham.gov.uk.
