A summary
At Stagecoach Guildford North’s 'Show in a Week,' children are welcomed into a safe and supportive environment by our friendly, highly trained team. From day one, every child is buddied up to help them feel confident, included, and ready to make new friends. Across the week, children take part in engaging singing, drama, and dance sessions as they work towards an exciting end of week show entitled ‘Oz’, inspired by Wicked. Sessions are designed to build confidence, support wellbeing, encourage teamwork, and develop communication skills. The week culminates in a full on stage performance at 2:15pm using our in house lighting, beautiful costumes, and professional photography, giving every child a strong sense of achievement and pride.

A very warm welcome to Stagecoach Guildford North running out of Kings College, GU2 8DU. We pride ourselves on providing top quality part-time performing arts training within Guildford in singing, dancing and acting. Not only do we focus on improving our students performance skill sets, we also look to nurture and develop their transferable life skills. We aim to build confidence, stretch the imagination and make new and exciting friendships that will last a lifetime. With over 12 years of teaching experience Principal Trixie and her team of highly skilled teachers and visiting mentors always work hard to ensure that every child LOVES their time at Stagecoach Guildford North and that everyone leaves singing and dancing with a smile on their face!

This club is suitable for children who do not need specialist SEND support. If you are unsure of whether your child will have their needs met in a performing arts setting, please speak to us before you attend. ​ This wonderful club is fully funded for children who receive benefit-related free school meals. We also offer places to those who do not receive HAF vouchers and you are welcome to book additional spaces via our website www.stagecoach.co.uk/guildfordnorth#workshops

REQUIREMENTS
All children attending will need:- - to commit to all 4 days of the course as we are working towards a performance at 2:15pm on Friday 10th April 2026 - to wear comfortable clothes that they can move and dance in (shorts should be worn under dresses) - to wear trainers or plimsols for dancing - no crocs/sandals - to bring a refillable water bottle - to inform us if you DO NOT consent to photos and videos being taken of your child as we will have professional show shots taken available to purchase on the day of the performance. - FOR THE SHOW - all children will need black school plimsols/school shoes. We will also ask you to provide minimal things for costume apart from basics such as black shorts/leggings/school trousers etc.
