A summary

St Gerard’s Primary Holiday Club – Summer of Fun! Join us at St Gerard’s Primary School for an exciting and enriching summer holiday club packed with themed activities, adventures, and creative fun! Open to children aged 5–11, our club offers a safe and supportive environment where children can stay active, make friends, and enjoy something new every day. Each week brings a fresh theme with engaging activities, sports, creative play, and exciting experiences. This summer’s themes include: Nature & Outdoors Children will explore the natural world through bug hunts, den building, gardening, and outdoor crafts. Includes a trip to Preston Park Museum. Creative Arts & Performance From drama and dance to music and crafts, this week is all about imagination and self-expression. Sports & Team Challenges High-energy fun with sports days, obstacle courses, team games, and friendly competitions. Includes a bouncy castle party, archery, and a water sports day! World Adventures Explore global cultures through themed dress-up days, food, games, and crafts. Includes brand-new cooking workshops. Special Trip – 30th July (8:30–11:30am): Children will take part in a Tees Valley Mini Beasts or Den Building Workshop, including a trip to Hemlington Lake (weather permitting) for hands-on outdoor learning and exploration. With qualified, caring staff and a strong focus on fun, friendship, and learning through play, the St Gerard’s Holiday Club promises a summer full of memories. We look forward to welcoming your child for a fantastic experience!

Designed for children of all abilities and backgrounds, especially those eligible for free school meals through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, our clubs offer a safe, fun, and supportive environment where every child can shine.

You're Invited to Our End-of-Summer Celebration!

To mark the end of an amazing summer, all parents and carers will be invited to join us for a fun-filled final day party and awards ceremony. Enjoy a fantastic day with your child, including a bouncy castle, water activities, archery, games, and exciting activities for all to try! Please note: Invitations to the celebration will be based on your child’s attendance throughout the club. Limited attendance may affect eligibility to attend the final day event.
