What we'll do
St Barbe's Summer Bash offers a unique experience for children, young people and families. Offering Family Day activities and 11-16 year old activities, there is something for everyone. Our Summer Bash includes a healthy, freshly cooked meal that we like to get everyone involved in, and afternoon snack and not to mention our enriching, fun activities in a warm, welcoming and inclusive space. St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery
An Inclusive Cultural space for everyone
Located at the heart of the beautiful, historic coastal market town of Lymington, St Barbe is a dynamic museum and vibrant art gallery that appeals to both locals and New Forest visitors. The museum explores the history of Lymington and the New Forest Coast, inspired by local pride, and supported by the local community, its collections and colourful, hands-on displays offer a fascinating insight into the area for all ages. It offers a wide range of community centred activities, groups, talks and much more. Our successful HAF programme has been running for 4 years and has grown and developed in partnership with our lovely families and young people that have helped to shape what it is today. We encourage everyone to come along, explore, have fun and make friends.
Useful Information
We run Family Days, where an adult must be present for under 11 year olds. We run 11-16 yrs days where no adult is required. If your child is 11-16 yrs and would like to attend a Family Day without a parent please contact Joanne Ainslie on joanne.ainslie@stbarbe-museum.org to discuss.
