What we'll do
Our afterschool club provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, make friends, and build confidence. We aim to offer a wide range of activities that encourage creativity, social interaction, wellbeing, and personal development while ensuring that every child feels valued and included. Throughout the year, children have taken part in a variety of arts and crafts activities, including seasonal and themed projects such as Easter crafts, card making, painting, decorating, and creative challenges. These activities help children develop new skills, express themselves creatively, and take pride in their achievements. Outdoor play is a key part of our club, and we regularly organise "Playing Out" sessions where children can enjoy active games, sports, and free play in a safe environment. We also make use of local parks and outdoor spaces, encouraging physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. We enjoy providing opportunities for children to experience new things through trips and special activities. Recent visits have included outdoor activity sessions at Rewilding Youth and educational trips to Bridlington Wildlife Centre. These experiences help children connect with nature, learn about the world around them, and create lasting memories. Food plays an important role in bringing children together. We regularly share meals and snacks and have hosted cooking and baking activities where children learn basic food preparation skills, try new foods, and work together. These sessions encourage independence and healthy eating habits. The club also offers a range of games, quizzes, themed events, discos, treasure hunts, and seasonal celebrations throughout the year. These activities help build friendships, improve communication skills, and create a fun and positive atmosphere where children can relax after school. We are committed to being an inclusive community where families feel supported and welcome. The addition of new volunteers has strengthened our team and enabled us to continue providing high-quality activities for local children. We value the relationships we build with families and work hard to ensure that every child has access to opportunities that support their wellbeing and development. Our afterschool club continues to thrive because of the enthusiasm of the children who attend, the support of families, and the dedication of our volunteers. We look forward to continuing to provide enriching experiences that help children learn, grow, and have fun together.

I have 2 girls some of you have met and I am currently pregnant with my first little boy. we run multiple sessions from our site and hoping to run more in the future. We are a small knit group always looking and happy to bring new members in. we are all one community!
HEALTH AND SAFTEY
While our afterschool club provides a safe and welcoming environment, parents and carers remain responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their children during sessions. Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by a parent, carer, or responsible adult at all times, as we do not accept unaccompanied children under this age. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment for all families attending.
