What we'll do
Half-Term Art & Design Camp - Hands-on art adventures for curious kids! At IDEA Design Hub’s Half-Term Art & Design Camp, children aged 4–14 dive into a world of creativity, imagination, and design thinking. Led by professional artists and educators, each day introduces a new theme that blends art, design, and storytelling through hands-on projects. Our camps nurture confidence, collaboration, and curiosity, helping every child explore their creativity in a fun, supportive environment. Dates: 16 February to 20 February 2026 ⏰ 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM daily (Early drop-off and late pick-up available) Spring Half-Term Camp and End-of-Camp Exhibition: From Spark to Showcase * Monday 16 Feb – Become a Scientartist! (STEAM Makers) Explore the intersection of art, maths, science and technology through engaging science experiments, and using the results to create stunning exhibition-worthy artwork! * Tuesday 17 Feb – Time-Travelling Fashionistas (Little Fashion Designers) Explore and create wearable outfits from different points in history, from the shields and crests of the Middle Ages to space-worthy suits of the future! * Wednesday 18 Feb – Angles and Illusions (Fine Art and Sculpture) Taking inspiration from renowned artists and sculptors, create mesmerising fine art pieces and sculptures with optical illusions that play tricks on your eyes! * Thursday 19 Feb – Big Ideas, Tiny Cities (Little Architects) Utilising the unique styles of renowned architects like Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster and Antoni Gaudi, create a one-of-a-kind 3-D building model, and collaborate with one another to make one giant cityscape! * Friday 20 Feb – Comics and Creative Spark Showcase! In the morning, design a 3-D comic that lets your character leap from the pages! The afternoon will be focused on setting up the exhibition space and artworks for the Creative Spark Showcase (parents, children and everyone else invited!) Creative Spark Showcase: ⏰ 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM, Friday 20 February Join us as we celebrate the incredible imagination, effort, and talent of our young artists and designers at the end-of-camp exhibition! Over the week, our students will have explored STEAM, fashion design, fine art and sculpture, architecture, and comics. This showcase brings together their favourite pieces - designed, built, drawn, and imagined by your child's creative spark. Explore their work, hear the stories behind their ideas, and celebrate a week filled with creativity, curiosity, and confidence! What to Bring: Please note that lunch is not provided, so we kindly ask parents to pack a nut-free packed lunch, healthy snacks, and a refillable water bottle for their child each day. All art and design materials are included - just bring your imagination and wear clothes that can get a little messy with paint and creativity!
