A summary
Space for Yew HAF Sessions at Rother's Neurodivergent Hub Our HAF sessions are designed specifically for neurodivergent children and young people. We understand that many holiday activities can feel overwhelming, busy or inaccessible, so our sessions are intentionally kept small to create a calm and supportive environment. Children and young people will have access to our indoor play space, sensory room, creative studio and secure outdoor area. Activities will be facilitated by Space for Yew staff and may include arts and crafts, sensory play, games, outdoor play, seasonal activities and opportunities to connect with others in a safe and understanding environment. Parents and carers must remain on site throughout all sessions and are responsible for their children at all times. --- Sunday Family Session (All Ages) A relaxed family session for neurodivergent children and young people of all ages and their families. Families can enjoy indoor and outdoor play, sensory experiences, creative activities and opportunities to connect with other families who understand. A child-friendly picky lunch will be provided for all booked children and young people. Teas and coffees are provided for adults. This session is designed for the whole family and provides opportunities for connection, play and wellbeing together in a safe, understanding and judgement-free environment. --- Tuesday Primary Session (Ages 5–11) **10.00am – 12.00pm** A smaller session specifically for primary-aged neurodivergent children. Children can access sensory play, creative activities, games, indoor and outdoor play, while building confidence and connecting with peers of a similar age in a calm and supportive environment. A meal will be provided for all booked children. Children can choose from a hot food option, such as a jacket potato with a choice of fillings, or a packed lunch style option depending on their preferences. Space for Yew
For Neurodivergent families
Space for Yew was founded in 2024 to support neurodivergent adults, children, and families. Our mission is simple: to prevent isolation and enhance wellbeing. We provide a range of inclusive services: Weekly Family Stay, Play & Learn sessions (ages 0–8) – part of the ESCC SEND Local Offer. These child led sessions include sensory play, arts & crafts, games, and informal learning. Activities are tailored each week to meet the diverse needs of families attending. Nature Connections – Weekly outdoor sessions for children and their parents/carers, with a deep focus on wellbeing and the restorative power of nature. FREE monthly Coffee & Art mornings – creative, supportive meet-ups for parents/carers who are neurodivergent or raising neurodivergent children. Space for Yew in the Community – wellbeing social sessions such as seasonal wreath making as well as supported trips to community venues and events such as the pantomime or local farms. These experiences help people feel comfortable, connected, and part of their wider community while reducing isolation. We support children facing barriers to education – including those on part-time timetables, awaiting school placements, home educated, or struggling within school. Our staff team brings both lived and professional experience of neurodivergence including Autism, PDA, and ADHD.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
