What we'll do
Get ready for the ultimate football experience this summer! Our World Cup Summer Football Camp is a fun, active, and exciting programme designed for young footballers who love the game and want to develop their skills while making new friends. Running from 10:00am – 2:00pm each day, the camp places football at the heart of everything we do. Children will become their favourite nation and compete throughout the summer in a thrilling World Cup-themed competition. Every session is packed with football-focused activities, including skill development drills, shooting practice, attacking and defending games, small-sided matches, and exciting challenges designed to improve confidence, teamwork, and technical ability. Players will have the opportunity to earn points for their country through daily football competitions, challenges, and matches. Our experienced coaches create a positive and supportive environment where children can develop their game, build resilience, and enjoy healthy competition. Activities are carefully structured to improve speed, coordination, communication, decision-making, and overall football understanding. Each week will conclude with exciting World Cup matchdays, where teams battle for valuable points and a place in the overall standings. The competition will build towards a spectacular finale, where one nation will be crowned our World Cup Summer Champions. Alongside football, children will take part in quizzes, team-building activities, and creative challenges that provide opportunities to relax, learn, and socialise between football sessions. These activities encourage confidence, communication, problem-solving, and friendship-building while ensuring every child enjoys a well-rounded camp experience. The HAF programme is about more than just football. It promotes healthy lifestyles, builds confidence, develops social skills, and provides a safe and welcoming environment where every child can thrive. Our dedicated coaches ensure that all participants feel included, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Most importantly, the camp is designed to be fun. Whether your child dreams of becoming the next football superstar or simply enjoys playing with friends, they will leave each day with new memories, new skills, and a smile on their face. LUNCH Option There will be a selection of Cheese sandwich, Ham sandwich and Tuna mayo sandwich, coupled with either a Banana or an Orange, a baked crisp and a fruit yogurt or jelly. This provision is available for the eligible children. SEND Support Our team may be able to provide 1:1 support if your application is approved by the East Riding HAF team. However, this is at the discretion of SK Community Trust and will require a consultation between meeting parents/carers and our camp lead to determine whether we can sufficiently support the needs of the individual.
