A summary
Children will spend meaningful time interacting with our animals through feeding, grooming, animal husbandry and gentle cuddles, helping to build confidence, empathy and emotional wellbeing They will explore the journey from farm to fork, learning how food is grown, harvested and prepared.Together we will grow herbs, pick fresh produce and cook simple, nutritious home-grown meals. Sessions also include nature exploration and basic bushcraft skills, encouraging teamwork, resilience, curiosity and a deeper connection to the outdoors.

We are an Animal Assisted Therapy Farm, based near Ipstones in the Staffordshire Moorlands, created to provide therapy and nurturing for all, using a holistic approach to improve the quality of life through animals and nature. Our Mission is to establish therapeutic working relationships by using our diverse range of farm animals and related activities, as well as nature-based activities to aid individuals, groups, or organisations dealing with mental health issues and challenges. Frequently asked Questions
What should children wear? Sensible sturdy footwear ( no crocs or trainers) warm clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, waterproof jacket, hat and gloves. Can we cater for allergies/ dietary needs? Yes we can but we need to be given notice when booking sessions. Are meals provided every day? Yes each session we will provide a different meal and snack. What happens in bad weather? There is no such thing as bad weather on the farm if children are dressed appropriately. What age range is the program for? Age 5 through to 16 Are staff DBS checked? Yes all staff are checked.
