Shoe Box Stories HAF block mentored by Sussex Contemporary Illustrators & Printmakers (SCIP)
What we'll do
Join the SCIP team to bring a scene from your favorite story to life in a shoe box! Working with papers, pens, cards and other materials you will design and build a 3d picture inspired by a story! Perhaps your will show the gingerbread cottage from Hansel & Gretel, or create capture a quidditch match in your shoe box!! All materials are provided, but you will need to bring the imagination! Please wear clothing suitable for an art-workshop. Drinks bottles are welcome too! SCIP is an arts charity dedicated to breaking down the barriers which stop people from accessing the arts in our community, we do this by providing free workshops, exhibitions and events from our home The Crypt Gallery in Seaford. Our organisation is passionate about contemporary visual arts, and believe art can be a powerful tool to support individuals wellbeing and bring together entire communities.
