A SUMMARY
Do you have a teenage girl who is poised to flourish? Who could do with some support to spread her wings fully? Who you wish could just believe in herself more, to become the young woman you see in her? We'd love to offer her a place in the She Wolf tribe! She Wolf is a four-month programme of wild adventures for girls aged 13-15, designed to foster responsibility, courage, resilience, and a sense of belonging to a supportive tribe. Guided by two experienced female mentors qualified in Therapeutic Adventure Programming and Counselling Skills, this fun and challenging developmental programme consists of a series of powerful outdoor experiences of nature connection, journeying, camping and adventure, culminating in a 2-day wilderness journey, and a family graduation ceremony. Learning survival skills, campcraft, communication, self-expression & teamwork, the girls will develop a strong sense of personal & tribal identity, and experience the joy that comes from a sense of belonging, confidence and freedom in the natural world. This rites of passage experience marks the important time of transition from girlhood to young adulthood. As part of the tribe, girls will be mentored with kindness, humour and authenticity, supporting them to develop their sense of responsibility, resilience and belonging. We aim to help them step into adolescence with the courage to explore, both within themselves and in the wider world, in order to access a lifetime of adventure. 1) Half-day; orientation, team-building, nature connection exercises - Sunday 1st June 2) Full-day; skills development, short hike, communication, campcraft - Sunday 22nd June 3) Weekend; wilderness adventure, camping, stargazing, wild swimming, solo challenge and wild graduation ceremony - Saturday 20th - Sunday 21st Sept *This programme commences June 2025. Dates TBC. Please get in touch ASAP to register interest in your daughter joining the tribe*

Julia Sands
Expedition Leader/Wilderness Guide
I am a wilderness therapy facilitator, with many years of experience in teaching, expedition leading and delivering personal development workshops for young people. As a qualified secondary school teacher, I have led many remote and challenging wilderness expeditions overseas. I have designed and delivered empowerment workshops for teams of young women in Tanzania, Uganda and Sri Lanka, and have supervised Duke of Edinburgh expeditions all over the UK. I am passionate about nature and enabling young people to feel more connected to their own nature through wilderness immersion, with the aim of supporting mental health and holistic well-being. I have experience in counselling and group facilitation, a remote first aid qualification and a mental health first aid certificate. I run my own wilderness therapy organisation with a unique focus on using metaphors of the landscape as a mirror for emotional and psychological landscapes. I empower people to journey inside, outside, and am passionate about supporting better mental health and communication skills in young people.
