What we'll do
This is a six-week course in which you will learn the basics and build confidence in using and caring for a sewing machine. Learn how to stitch, turn up hems, make buttonholes, inset a zip and use interfacing. Look at how patterns work and explore using different kinds of fabrics. We provide the sewing machines. Join us in a friendly and warm environment. You will learn at your own pace and our mentors will be available to help and advise at all times, this a skill you can use again and again.
