SEND stay & play

Universal Service Practitioner

A summary
SEND friendly Stay & Play sessions run every Monday (term time only), with our morning session starting at 10am (10 - 11.30am) and the afternoon session starting at 1pm (1-2.30pm).
Tickets for the SEND friendly sessions go live to book every Tuesday morning at 9am for the following weeks sessions. Please ensure you have received a confirmation email before attending.
Please note, you only need to book a ticket for your child and not the adult attending.
Our vision is to support parents and families of pre-school children that have been identified as having a special educational need or disability or where parents have concerns that their child may have additional needs. We will offer a stimulating environment in our specialist sensory room where all children are welcome, respected and encouraged to fulfil their potential.
Our inclusive stay and play group will allow children with SEND aged 1-4 years (or until a child is due to start their reception year at school) to develop their play; communication; and social interaction skills with the support of our experienced Universal Service Practitioners (USP). We provide a safe and non-judgemental environment to discover new activities and new ways to learn through play.
It will be your responsibility to supervise your child whilst attending the stay and play and this will provide you with the opportunity to meet other parents and share your experiences.
After sending your booking request we will share an online registration form with you that we ask you to complete either before your first session, or at the first session if support is required.

Waiting lists
If it appears that a session is fully booked we encourage you to click the 'EMAIL ME WHEN AVAILABLE' option so that you'll be notified if a place becomes available. In this event you will receive an email and you will then need to book the place.
We therefore ask that if you have booked a ticket but are unable to attend, that you please cancel your ticket as soon as possible to allow other families to have the opportunity to attend the session.

Cancellation policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.
My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
