What we'll do
Our vision is to support parents and families of pre-school children that have been identified as having a special educational need or disability or parents have concerns that their child may have additional needs. We will offer a stimulating environment in our specialist sensory room where all children are welcome, respected and encouraged to fulfil their potential. Our inclusive stay and play group will allow children with SEND aged 1-4 years to develop their play; communication; and social interaction skills with the support of our experienced Universal Support Practitioners (USP) in collaboration with the SEND Early Identification and Support Service. We provide a safe and non-judgemental environment to discover new activities and new ways to learn through play. It will be your responsibility to supervise your child whilst attending the stay and play and this will provide you with the opportunity to meet other parents and share your experiences. After sending your booking request we will share an online registration form with you that we ask you to complete either before your first session, or at the first session if support is required. Please note, you only need to book a ticket for your child and not the adult attending.

Bringing communities together
A Family Hub is a place where children, young people and their families can go to access services from different agencies in their local area. Cherry Street SEND and Sensory Hub offers a range of services to support families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include specialist health visitors, SEND stay & play, SEND surgeries and advice, parenting groups and family support. Accessing services from Cherry Street SEND and Sensory Hub is simple. For further information please email CherryStreetHub@Wolverhampton.gov.uk or call 01902 558406.
Please note:
Due to limited capacity and to ensure needs can be met, only one adult per child will be able to attend the SEND Stay and Play. A maximum of two tickets can be booked per adult to allow for siblings. Once you have requested to book we will need you to complete a short online registration form in order that we can learn more about your child. If you require support to complete the form, this can be provided at your first session.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
