SEND Stay and Play (All Ages) block mentored by Ladybug Lodge

A summary

At our SEND Stay and Play sessions your family will have access to: - A large Soft Play with 4ft deep ballpit, trampoline & more! - A Sensory Room with interactive floor, bubble tubes, projectors and more! - A large Sensory Integration room with indoor basket swing! - A large hall space with messy play, sensory activities, spinning chairs, interactive projector and themed activities - A secure outdoor playground, equipped with climbing frame, swing, basketball nets, water and sand play and lots of sporting equipment - A Food Tech room with the opportunity to engage in cooking activities such as biscuit decorating or making fruit kebabs! Sessions are catered for all with the following accessibility options: - Step free access throughout the whole building - Changing places toilet fitted with ceiling track hoist and adult size changing bed - Portable hoists and beanbags/mats - Supportive chairs (Tumbleform, Tomato Sitter, PPods) - A breakout space - Staff trained in Makaton and AAC An EHCP is not required to attend these sessions Sessions are for the whole family and we cannot wait to meet you! Please note that food will not be provided, however, refreshments will be available and each family will receive a £10 supermarket voucher.

Accessible activities for SEND families

Ladybug Lodge aim to relieve the needs of children and young adults (up to the age of 25) with special education needs or disabilities who reside in Coventry and the surrounding area and their families and carers, by providing accessible activities, events and recreational opportunities and by providing support, information and advice

Additional Information for your visit:

A parent/carer must stay with their children at all times. Ladybug Lodge staff and volunteers are not responsible for your child at any point during the session. They will support with play and lead activities but are not responsible for any of your childs care needs.
