What we'll do
This camp is for SEND children ONLY. Join us at Summit Up Climbing for our SEND Holiday Easter Camp – specially designed for disabled and neurodivergent children in a supportive, understanding environment. These sessions are exclusively for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and are delivered in smaller, calmer groups than our mainstream camps. Each day includes an exciting Clip ‘n Climb session, fun crafts, engaging games, plus a hot meal and snacks – all thoughtfully adapted to meet a wide range of needs and abilities. We provide a relaxed and flexible structure, with access to both a breakout room and a sensory room, giving children space to regulate and recharge whenever needed. Our fully disability-trained staff team, supported by dedicated climbing volunteers, ensure every child feels safe, encouraged and included. We’re proud to offer a variety of adaptive climbing equipment to make the walls accessible to all climbers, regardless of physical ability. For children who require personal care, we kindly ask that a parent or carer remains on site during the session.

About your mentor
Summit Up Climbing
Summit Up Climbing
Summit Up is a community-focused project initiated by The Stoller Charitable Trust, a charity whose purpose has been to provide opportunities to raise aspirations, support Oldham’s young people to reach the height of their ability and to provide a helping hand when it is most needed. Summit Up was created to provide high quality sport and recreation facilities in Oldham and to generate a revenue stream to support The Stoller Charitable Trust. All the distributable profits will go to supporting local Oldham charities such as Mahdlo Youth Zone, Maggie’s Oldham and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. The Centre is a legacy for the future generations coming through the Oldham community. Summit Up is home to the largest Clip ‘n Climb in the North West. Designed by Entre-prises UK – the sole supplier of climbing walls for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics – the unique Clip ‘n Climb concept is on offer at several outdoor activity centres across the globe. Clip ‘n Climb Oldham features 35 challenges, including the adrenaline-pumping ‘Leap of Faith’, the popular ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and a thrilling 10-metre ‘Vertical Drop Slide’.
