♻️FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions♻️ ♻️Who is this session for? These sessions are designed specifically for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) aged 5-10 years old. We provide a calm, structured environment with a focus on creativity, sensory play, and confidence-building. ♻️What happens during a session? Each session will include: Creative Junk Play – Children can explore scrap materials and repurpose them into imaginative creations. Sensory-Friendly Making – Hands-on activities using textiles, paper, and recycled materials to support sensory regulation. Themed Projects – Each session will explore different themes, including nature, storytelling, and problem-solving challenges. Quiet Zones – Space for children who may need a break in a low-stimulation environment. ♻️What support is available for my child? Small group sizes to ensure personalised support. Trained facilitators experienced in working with SEND children. Adaptable activities to meet different needs and abilities. Visual schedules and structured sessions to help children feel comfortable and engaged. ♻️What skills could my child learn? We will have chances for children to learn things such as sewing, weaving, painting and a multitude of other creative skills. ♻️Can parents/carers stay? We aim for children to stay independently eventually but Parents and carers are welcome to stay and support whilst they settle in. Our sessions are designed to be flexible to meet the needs of each family.
