What we'll do
This Summer at our Secondary Rokeby HAF programme, young people attending will take part in an intense football & futsal programme. The programme will be led and delivered by experienced and suitably qualified staff, and delivered at a secure and safe setting at Rokeby School. Depending on the programme selected - limited spaces available - each day will consist of at least 2hours of specific football & futsal coaching. Additionally, we will be incorporating a mixed martial arts delivery for our young people through out the programme. Depending what we are able to secure, we will also be looking to add additional experiences to provide fun variety to the programme i.e water sports, archery, go karting or outdoor adventure centres. In addition to that, as part of the wider enrichment and educational offer, there will also be a daily nutritional education. The programme will also provide a free hot meal on a daily basis. We are a sports clubs that focuses on closing the sporting and physical activity experience gap. For our HAF programmes, we offer an inclusive multi-sports experience so that young people get exposed to a variety of organised and flexible sporting and physical activity opportunities. Additionally, we specialise in providing unique experiences that young people for FSM backgrounds often miss out on.
Suitable for
HAF clubs are inclusive for children with low levels of SEN and/or disability, who can participate in universal settings. We also have specialist programmes for those children and young people who require specialist support. Each Club will assess their suitability to provide sufficient support, based on your child/young person’s needs, on a case-by-case basis. Email us for any queries on HAF@newham.gov.uk.
