A summary
Our Dance Holiday Club is a fun, energetic experience designed for primary school children of all abilities. Throughout the day, children will learn exciting dance routines inspired by styles such as street, commercial and contemporary, while building confidence, coordination and teamwork skills. Each session includes warm-ups, technique-based activities, creative choreography tasks and group performances. Children will also take part in fun dance games and challenges to keep energy levels high and smiles even bigger. By the end of the club, children will have developed new skills, made new friends and gained the confidence to perform in a supportive and encouraging environment.

What to Expect
At our Dance Holiday Club, children will enjoy a variety of exciting activities designed to keep them active, creative and inspired throughout the day. They’ll take part in fun dance games that build rhythm, coordination and teamwork, helping them warm up while boosting confidence in a relaxed and supportive environment. Children will also learn choreographed routines in styles such as street and commercial, breaking moves down step-by-step before performing together as a group. Alongside dance, we include creative art and craft sessions where children can design props, decorate performance posters, or create themed artwork linked to the day’s routines. This gives them time to recharge while still expressing their creativity. The day is packed with movement, imagination and fun — giving every child the chance to shine both on and off the dance floor.
Learning aims
Aim 1
Perform a Structured Dance Routine Children will be able to confidently perform a choreographed routine, remembering key movements, timing and transitions.
Aim 3
Create and Contribute to Choreography Children will be able to contribute their own movement ideas and work collaboratively to build short creative sequences as part of a group.
Aim 2
Demonstrate Improved Rhythm and Coordination Children will understand how to move in time with music and show improved balance, body control and spatial awareness.
Aim 4
Show Increased Confidence and Teamwork Children will demonstrate greater confidence when performing in front of others and an improved ability to work positively within a team
