A summary
Make Change – Easter HAF Programme Overview Make Change is proud to deliver an inclusive and engaging Easter HAF Club hosted at Rushey Mead Primary School. Our programme supports children and families during the Easter holidays by providing a safe, friendly, and active environment where children can build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy positive experiences with their peers. The club benefits from excellent onsite facilities, including access to a large sports field with football pitches and a running track, allowing us to deliver a wide range of high-quality outdoor activities in a spacious and secure setting. The Easter HAF Club runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm, offering a structured and balanced day that includes physical activity, team challenges, creative sessions, and a nutritious meal. Children are grouped in age-appropriate sessions to ensure they feel comfortable, supported, and fully included throughout the day. Sport and physical activity remain central to the Make Change ethos. Led by experienced and enthusiastic coaches, children will take part in a broad range of inclusive activities such as football, multi-skills, athletics on the running track, team games, archery, boccia, parachute games, and adapted sports. The extensive outdoor space enables us to deliver football matches, relay races, skill circuits, and structured games safely and effectively. All activities are adapted to suit different abilities and experience levels. Our emphasis is on participation, enjoyment, teamwork, and personal development rather than competition. We aim to create an environment where every child feels confident to try new things and proud of their progress. Each day includes a healthy meal for every child. We promote a positive food culture where children are encouraged to explore nutritious options, understand healthy choices, and enjoy eating together in a relaxed, social setting. Mealtimes also support independence, communication skills, and positive routines. Alongside sport, children will engage in creative Easter-themed activities, including arts and crafts, group problem-solving challenges, music, and mindfulness sessions. These quieter elements of the day ensure children have opportunities to express themselves, recharge, and enjoy a well-rounded holiday experience. Our staff team is experienced in working with children of varying needs and backgrounds, including those requiring additional support. We prioritise inclusion, patience, encouragement, and clear communication in everything we deliver. Creating a welcoming and structured atmosphere is fundamental to our approach. The Make Change Easter HAF Club at Rushey Mead Primary School provides children with the opportunity to stay active, socialise, develop confidence, and experience a positive and enriching school holiday. We look forward to welcoming your child to a fun, active, and memorable Easter holiday with Make Change.
