What we'll do
Our fun, supportive holiday sessions include learning to ride a bike, developing cycling skills, taking part in team games and enjoying creative craft activities. Children work in small groups, helping them feel supported, included and confident as they try new challenges. Each session includes a hot, healthy meal to fuel active days. Children build confidence, make new friends, improve coordination and leave feeling proud of what they’ve achieved in a safe and welcoming environment.

Frequently asked questions
What age children can attend? Our sessions are open to children aged 4 to 16 years. Can we just turn up on the day? No. All places must be booked in advance. Due to limited spaces and staffing ratios, we can only admit children who have a confirmed booking. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept walk-ins on the day. Does my child need to be able to ride a bike? No. Complete beginners are very welcome. We provide bikes and helmets, and our instructors support children at all ability levels. Where do the cycling activities take place? We are set up to deliver cycling activities both outdoors and indoors where needed, ensuring sessions can continue safely in a range of weather conditions. Do children need to bring their own bike? No. All bikes and helmets are provided for participants. For safety, maintenance, and insurance reasons, children must use the bikes provided and should not bring their own bikes to the session. What should my child wear and bring? Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for being active, along with flat shoes or trainers. Please send them with a clearly labelled water bottle. What about children with SEND? We are happy to welcome children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Please provide full details at the time of booking so we can ensure our provision is safe and supportive. While we make reasonable adjustments where possible, we are unable to provide 1:1 support. Are staff qualified? All instructors are qualified, and a certified first aider is always on site. Is food provided? Each session includes a hot, healthy meal. Children are welcome to bring their own packed lunch if they prefer (please ensure they're nut free). Dietary requirements can be specified at the time of booking. Can our children bring mobile phones? No, please keep their phones offsite for the duration of the session. What are your behaviour expectations? We want all children and young people to have a fun, safe, and positive experience. We ask participants to be respectful to staff, volunteers, and other attendees, and to follow any instructions given during activities. We do not tolerate behaviour that puts others at risk, including physical aggression, bullying, or deliberate damage to equipment or property. If a child's behaviour causes concern, we will work with them and their parent/carer to resolve the situation. In some cases, a parent or carer may be asked to collect their child before the session ends. Where behaviour continues to cause concern or presents a risk to others, we reserve the right to refuse future bookings and the child may not be able to attend subsequent sessions.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.If you can no longer attend a free HAF session, we kindly ask that you cancel your place at least 48 hours in advance so that it can be offered to another child. Places booked on paid sessions are non-refundable. Repeated non-attendance or late cancellations without notice may affect eligibility for future bookings, as demand for places is often high.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
