Family Fun and Sensory Exploration Hillside is throwing open its doors for a fun-filled day guaranteed to bring smiles to faces of all ages! Join us for an afternoon of laughter, games, music, and delicious treats at our special Fun Day. 11:00am – 1:00pm: SEN Session We’re kicking things off with a dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) session. This quieter time allows children with sensory sensitivities to enjoy the activities and facilities in a more relaxed and controlled environment. We understand the importance of creating an inclusive space where everyone can feel comfortable and participate fully. During this session, all main activities will be available, including inflatables, music from DJ Justin, and free food, with adjustments made to create a calmer and more supportive atmosphere. Children can also explore a range of nursery-style activities inspired by The Play Corner Nursery. These include sensory play, arts and crafts, and imaginative role play, all designed to support creativity, communication, and confidence in a calm and nurturing setting. 1:00pm – 4:00pm: Open to All The Fun Day is open to the entire public, so bring your family and friends and get ready for an afternoon packed with exciting activities. Alongside inflatables, music from DJ Justin, and free food, families can enjoy a variety of engaging play experiences for younger children. Our Play Corner activities provide opportunities for hands-on learning through play, encouraging children to build social skills, develop coordination, and express themselves in a fun, supportive environment. We are committed to making Hillside’s Fun Day welcoming and inclusive for everyone, ensuring all children feel valued, supported, and able to join in the fun. Important Information Please note that children remain the responsibility of their parent or carer at all times while on site. Hillside staff are not responsible for supervising children during the event. Parents and carers must stay with their children throughout, and any personal care needs must be provided by the child’s parent or carer.
