A summary
Join professional Printmaker Catherine Greenwood at the Dairy Studios Lewes for a day Lino Printing in which you will carve and print a lino design of your own based on your own sketches and ideas.
You will be led through the process step by step and will produce a set of cards with envelopes or a canvas tote bag plus having learnt a new skill.
Beginners welcome, also open to experienced artists who want to take this process a step further with repeat printing or reduction prints.
Please bring an apron and a packed lunch. teas and coffee will be provided. Do bring ideas and sketchbooks yo work on a block 10 cm x 10cm.

Catherine Greenwood is an experienced printmaker, she runs her own studio in West Hoathly where she creates etchings, monoprints, draws and paints. She teaches small courses there and also leads Art walks. Catherine is a print fellow at City & Guilds Arts School in London and has a BA and MA qualification. She regularly runs Lino Print workshops for the national Trust at Standen Park and Sheffield Park. Her recent claim to fame is her Water lily tea towel in the shop at Sheffield Park! She exhibits and sells her work internationally.
