Potters Play Tennis: Free Community Tennis with Stoke City Foundation Join Stoke City Foundation for free weekly tennis sessions designed for young people aged 10–16 years. These relaxed and welcoming sessions are perfect for beginners or those looking to build confidence on the court. Participants will learn the fundamentals of tennis through fun games and activities in a supportive, inclusive environment, helping to develop skills, teamwork, and a love for being active. When: Wednesdays, starting 6th May 2026 Time: 4:15pm – 5:15pm Where: Florence Tennis & Bowling Club, ST3 4EB No experience needed — just come along, get active, and enjoy the game!

Additional Information
Our friendly coaching staff will be waiting at the court entrance to sign your child in. All equipment is provided, just bring a water bottle. The courts are sand‑dressed, so ordinary trainers or astroturf trainers are ideal. Attendees will also gain access to tennis festivals, event tickets, qualifications, and more exciting opportunities.
Learning aims
Aim 1
Participants will learn and practice basic tennis skills, including movement, racket control, and simple game play.
Aim 2
Participants will build confidence, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards being active through fun and inclusive tennis sessions.
Aim 3
Participants will be introduced to opportunities to continue playing tennis, including festivals, events, qualifications, and further progression routes.
