A summary
This session is an exciting day trip to Bridlington Leisure Centre, giving children and young people the chance to enjoy a full day of active fun and new experiences with their friends. Travelling together from Young People Count, the group will take part in supervised activities designed to build confidence, encourage movement and help young people try something new in a supportive environment. During the session young people will choose between two exciting activities: Clip ’n Climb or splash zone swimming. Staff will support young people throughout the day to make sure everyone can take part in an activity that feels right for them and that everyone feels included and comfortable. A meal will be provided at the venue café, where young people will have a choice of jacket potatoes or soup and sandwiches. Water and fruit will also be available to keep everyone refreshed during the day. The day is designed to help young people build confidence, stay active and enjoy positive shared experiences outside of their usual environment. Staff will travel with the group, provide supervision throughout the trip and ensure all young people are safely returned to Young People Count for collection and sign-out. **important** for this trip, due to minibus spaces please only book an accompanying adult space if your child requires extra support. This is to ensure those who are most in need of the support can still attend. Thank you.
