A summary
- Getting children excited about their wellness is a great way to create lifelong health habits! At our Health and Wellbeing Expo children, young people and their parents get to learn about the value of health and wellbeing! Through fun games and activities like the Smoothie Bike challenge and taste tests they can become more aware and involved in their health journey. This is a drop-in event This will run alongside our PicNic in the Park. Come and try some great food with demonstrations of how to cook and eat well on a budget.

WE HAVE BEEN RUNNING HAF’S SINCE 2021 AND USING OUR LEARNING FROM RUNNING THESE HAF’S WE HAVE DESIGNED A CHILD CENTRED ASPIRATIONAL PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES THAT WILL STIMULATE THE WHOLE CHILD. OUR OFFER TREATS EACH CHILD AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND OFFERING DAILY OPPORTUNITIES TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS, TRY NEW THINGS AND GROW IN CONFIDENCE. OUR PROGRAMME OF STIMULATING ACTIVITIES OFFERS THE CHILDREN A WHOLE RANGE OF OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY, AS PART OF A TEAM AND EVENTUALLY WHERE AND WHEN APPROPRIATE LEAD A TEAM. OUR PROGRAMME IS STRUCTURED TO FOSTER RELATIONSHIPS AND BUILD FRIENDSHIPS.
