What we'll do
Parenting is probably the most important and rewarding role you will undertake in your life. Yet it is far from easy, having ups and downs and posing challenges and demands. This is especially the case when you have a child with ADHD. The Parents Plus Children’s ADHD programme is designed specifically for parents of children aged 6-12 years with ADHD. On our Parents Plus programme you will meet other parents of children with ADHD in a supportive group where you can: *learn to cope and manage personal stress *deal with challenges of ADHD *help your children to have a positive understanding of ADHD and their strengths *help them to gain confidence and self esteem.
About your mentors
Amanda Stevens
Wolverhampton Family Learning Worker
A Family Hub is a place where children, young people and their families can go to access services from different agencies in their local area. There are also a range of services provided from within the Family Hub, including midwives, health visitors, new birth registrations, stay & play, activities, employment and training advice, adult education, parenting groups and family support. Accessing services from a Family Hub is simple. You can walk in, contact us via telephone or email, or a professional can connect you.
