About your mentor
Bexhill Family Collective CIC
Reducing barriers to a fulfilling life.
The Bexhill Family Collective originally formed in August 2020 as a direct response to nursery and children’s centre closures within Bexhill. In March 2021 we opened Dragonflies Community Nursery on the same site as Rainbow Childcare Centre which was sadly closed in December 2020. We received an amazing response from the people of Bexhill, but the more people we met, the more stories we heard of how the then, pandemic, and now, cost of living crisis is affecting all people within Bexhill and Rother. While Dragonflies Community Nursery goes from strength to strength; Bexhill Family Collective CIC now work to meet the needs of local people with the hope, that one day, everyone has access to work, education and leisure which enables them to lead fulfilling lives.
Health and Safety
You will be making your own picnics with your children, and we will do our best to consider all allergies and food intolerances when ordering food. This will be a nut free activity. Please let us know of any other food allergies, but we expect families to select food items themselves and this should eliminate the risk of children inadvertently eating something they shouldn't. You are responsible for your child at all times. Due to the nature of the Community Garden, there are inherent risks such as uneven surfaces, open water and tools. We ask families to keep their children under supervision at all times.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
