What we'll do
*Please only book into ONE session. If you book into more than ONE session any additional bookings will be cancelled and the first or correct booking will be allocated to you* Short Breaks are offering a number family trips throughout the Easter break open to children with SEND and their immediate family ONLY. This session is a stay and play taking place at Oxygen at the O2 and will be exclusively for families booked into this session. The session will start at 10am and finish at 12pm so please do arrive on time to get the most out of session. Lunch will be provided for all children in the group, you will be given a token on arrival and children will be able to get meal from the cafe during or after the session. Please note this is a stay and play session so all children attending need to be supervised at all times by their accompanying adults. We have booked the whole jumping area from 10am to 12pm but please note that this does stop other families from entering the arena/ cafe area before their jump start time at 12pm so please be aware that there may be other members of the public in the centre. All children need to be accompanied on the trips, at least one adult tickets needs to be booked for each session and also the right adult to child ratio in order to supervise your children. On confirmation you will also need to have the waiver form filled out before being able to enter the arena so please ensure this is done in advance. This can be found on their website or in the link below and will be sent out a few days before the trips. You will need to show staff a confirmation email for each attendee otherwise will need to be completed at the venue before you jump. Short Breaks Trips The trips are for families with a child with SEND only. To qualify for the sessions at least one child within your immediate family (up to 18 years old) will have special educational needs and/or disability (SEND). You will be asked to send proof of disability to ensure your place, please this over to shortbreaks@newham.gov.uk Please also note that all short break trips sessions have minimal staffing so parents and carers will need to supervise their children at all times. A family can have up to 2 adults 4 children. Siblings are welcome. Bookings are limited to 6 per family. Please contact Leonora.featherman@newham.gov.uk directly if more spaces are required. *Please only book into ONE session. If you book into more than ONE session any additional bookings will be cancelled and the first or correct booking will be allocated to you*

Activities for children and young people with additional needs There is a variety of activities in Newham that children and young people with special educational needs or disability can take part in. Some of these activities may be specifically for children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities, others may be for all children and young people. Often these activities are run by people or groups independent of us. We are with community groups and schools to help make sure that all events and activities are as accessible as possible

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
