A summary
The Bushcraft days see you transported from Stockton, arriving at our superb venue, the woods are fantastic - full of adventure and new experiences. The theme for the days are a mixture of Bushcraft and Forest Skills training, with a fun theme throughout. It is a great day; fun and a chance to get to know the forest! Please also understand that you will be encouraged to attempt new challenges; we cover fire lighting to animal tracking. We take den building to the next level and we develop the adventure side too with slack lining and making our very own rope traverses. The forest is just such a cool place to explore throughout the Summer days. Lunch and lessons are conducted in the Bushcraft main area, under the Parachute, with our amazing outdoor cooking area. At the end of the day you will be bused back to Stockton.

Outdoor-Ambition Ltd - Bushcraft
A Summer of forest activities & outdoor fun!
Outdoor-Ambition Limited (OAL) is a privately owned Outdoor Company based in Darlington, licensed by the Adventure Activity Licensing Association, holding Learning Outside the Classroom and AdventureMark. The Company specialise in providing high quality outdoor activities that will interest, excite, challenge, motivate and stimulate all participants. The instruction is professional and constructive; the activities will develop outdoor skills and increase the individual’s life experiences. Most importantly the days and the activities are fun!
An outline of a Bushcraft day
A normal day at the woods will look like below: 0900hrs - Transport at Splash Leisure Centre. 0915hrs - Travel into the Camp and conduct activity safety brief followed by morning snack. 1000hrs - Bushcraft Lessons (Cutting, Chopping, Animal tracks, Plants and trees) 1200hrs - Lunch, fruit & Hot Chocolate 1245hrs - Woodland craft including cooking 1430hrs - Activity Development and practise 1440hrs - Load Buses and depart for drop offs 1500hrs - Drop off at Splash.

Discovery - Try something different and have a great shared experience with other young people.
No specialist equipment required
Participants may need the following: Tracksuit/outdoor clothing Wellies/Boots Warm top/Jacket Hat and Gloves Spare clothes should they need to change. Warm top/jacket for after the event Drinks bottle with name on it, this can be refilled throughout the day. Plastic bag for dirty equipment
