East Suffolk Council
East Suffolk Council
Operation Camouflage has been running in various forms since 2008 and has grown significantly over time. In the last four years, it has expanded from a one-week programme into a four-week summer experience. Delivered in partnership by East Suffolk Council, the Army Welfare Service and Just 42, the programme aims to support young people from military families and those living in East Suffolk by providing opportunities to stay active, be creative, and enjoy a safe, positive environment during the summer holidays. The programme has also received recognition for its impact. In 2014, it was shortlisted for the Youth Justice Award at the Children and Young People Now Awards, which highlights initiatives that improve outcomes for young people at risk of offending. More recently, in 2019, Operation Camouflage won the Suffolk Strengthen Your Community Award at the Suffolk High Sheriff’s Awards, recognising its contribution to enhancing the local community.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations and Refunds 1 If you need to cancel a booked session, please provide as much notice as possible. 2 Where possible, cancellations should be made 3 -4 days in advance. 3 A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to avoid charges. 4 Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session price. 5 Short-notice cancellations may only be considered for a refund or credit in exceptional circumstances, such as illness. 6 For any HAF young person, two non attendances with no valid reason will result in all future bookings being cancelled. Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.
My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
