A summary
Oldham Youth service plan to offer a mixture of games, arts and crafts sessions and daily challenges enabling young people to keep active. These sessions, as well as providing healthy food and fun activities will be based on Youth Work Practice, using activities to raise awareness of issues, skill building, making new friends and improving confidence and self-esteem of those who attend. We will be delivering days out including Alton Towers, Roller City, and the Cinema. Our HAF will be focused around an 'Our Oldham' project, which will involve photography and filming in the 5 districts of Oldham.

About your mentor
Oldham Youth Service
To support young people across the borough
Oldham youth service work with young people aged 11-19 across the Oldham Borough using a variety of methods including outreach, 1-1, open access youth clubs, targeted projects and school based work. It is on a voluntary basis and we work holistically with young people to meet their needs. We treat each young person as an individual and start the youth work process 'where they are at' following national guidance from the NYA, all of our work is underpinned by national occupational standards and youth outcomes. Our aim is to provide young people with new social experiences, a voice and a safe space in which to support them to grow socially, emotionally, physically and become ready for adulthood.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
