A summary
Offshoot on Tour – Summer 2026 The Offshoot Foundation is hitting the road again this summer, bringing filmmaking workshops to young people across West Suffolk. During the summer holidays, we'll be spending three days in each of the following locations: Newmarket Brandon Haverhill Young people are welcome to attend workshops at any location, whether that's the one closest to home or all three! Join us for 9 FREE filmmaking sessions, where you'll learn hands-on filmmaking skills from professional filmmakers while creating exciting projects in a fun and supportive environment. Whether you're completely new to filmmaking or already have some experience, everyone is welcome. What You'll Learn Participants will explore filmmaking through a variety of creative projects, including: ? Movie Trailers ? Music Videos ?️ Animation Using professional filmmaking equipment, you'll have the opportunity to develop skills in: Camera operation Video editing Acting and performance Storytelling Teamwork and communication Creative problem-solving Prefer to stay behind the camera? That's absolutely fine! There are plenty of production roles available, and no one is required to appear on screen. Workshop Information Age Range: 11–18 years Places Available: Maximum of 20 participants per workshop Each workshop creates something different, so participants are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as they wish. Typical 3-Day Programme Each day begins with fun games and activities designed to build confidence, creativity and teamwork. Day 1 ? Movie Trailers Day 2 ? Music Videos Day 3 ?️ Animation Session Times 10:00am – 3:00pm (A lunch break will be provided during the day.) What to Bring: Packed lunch Refillable drinks bottle Comfortable clothing suitable for movement and the weather Come and Get Creative!
