Meet The Team
Meet the Team Coach Sophie Sophie is the Female Football Pathway Manager at Oldham Athletic Community Trust, bringing with her over 7 years of coaching experience and a UEFA B qualification. She has worked with top clubs including Coventry City, Derby County, and Manchester United, as well as gaining international experience coaching in Beijing, China, and with the Welsh national setup. Her passion lies in opening doors for girls in football — creating safe, welcoming spaces where every girl can enjoy the game, build confidence, and feel part of a supportive team. Coach Paul Paul is one of our Primary School Delivery Leads and holds a UEFA C qualification. He has extensive experience working with children across school and community settings, creating positive and engaging learning environments. A passionate football enthusiast and avid supporter of Oldham Athletic, Paul brings both knowledge and genuine enthusiasm to every session he delivers. He is keen to further apply his UEFA C learning in a development-focused environment and is excited to support the Girls’ Development Centre as they progress on their football journey.
