A summary
Children will take part in an exciting two-day immersive workshop where they become “Incredible Investigators,” working together to solve mysteries through creative exploration. Across the sessions, they will engage in interactive games, drama activities, and hands-on crafts designed to build teamwork, confidence, and imagination. Participants will explore storytelling techniques and learn how a “whodunit” is created, developing characters, clues, and plots. By the end of the project, children will have contributed ideas, acted out scenes, and used creative skills to bring their own detective-style adventure to life in a fun and supportive environment. A two-day workshop taking young people on an adventure of mystery! Join us as we become detectives to work together through games, drama and crafts to solve mysteries and find out what it takes to create a great ‘whodunit’!

The Education team at the New Vic provides creative learning opportunities for everyone from four-years-old and upwards. No experience is needed and everyone is welcome. We believe that drama, as well as a vital art form in its own right, is a powerful means of learning – promoting problem solving skills , questioning and self-discovery. We are committed to lifelong learning and giving everyone access to creative opportunities and activities. We work both within the formal education sector and in informal settings. Much of our work is involved in curriculum development and we deliver creative approaches across all subjects.
