Nature Guardians Teen group block mentored by Lymley Wood

A summary

Come to the woodland once a month and join other young people who are passionate about nature and the environment. Youth led activities on areas such as nature protection, species monitoring, building nest boxes, tree planting and other eco activities. Plus bushcraft skills, and access to the adventure playground in the trees. Fun and friendship, safe inclusive space for all, come with a friend or come alone. We will learn about the environment and how we can protect it for the future.

Lymley Wood CIC provides facilitated day and residential activity experiences and sessions for children, young people, families and community groups. We are passionate about outdoor learning and promote 'Nature Connectedness' in everything we do!

D of E Volunteers

If you are doing Duke of Edinburgh, attending this groups will meet volunteering requirements. Hours can be signed off towards your Bronze Silver or Gold award.

What we'll do

Each month we will plan activites based on what the young people want to do. Maybe green woodworking, maybe looking at species in the wood, or creating a pond, the possibilities are endless! This is a youth led group meaning that members direct and plan the content they want to do and they are interested in.
