A summary
We're delighted to be able to offer places on our free Summer sports and activity programme to young people aged 4-16. We have lined up expert staff to run sessions in football, dodgeball, rounders and supervised fun in our playground, plus indoor fun with board games, table tennis and creative crafting when the weather's not playing ball. Lunch will be provided every day by our community centre cafe operators, Home Grown, cooking delicious, home style, healthy lunches that your child will love. All sessions will run daily from 9.30-1pm, are fully risk assessed and all session staff will be DBS checked.

Good to Know
All sessions will run daily from 9.30-1pm, are fully risk assessed and all session staff will be DBS checked. Daily Schedule 9.30-9.45 is registration in the community hall 9.45-12 sports coaching outside on the grass and blue basketball court, with games and crafts indoors 10.45am is break time 12pm is school food standard lunch for everyone 12.45pm-1pm is collection and signing out Activities Broadly we’ll be offering various sports, including tennis, football and basketball, the emphasis is on time outdoors when the weather allows. Playground fun, supervised board games and crafting activities will be available during the day for anyone who needs a break from sports. Session Staff and Lunches Our sports sessions will be overseen by previous session staff, under organisation Live United. Activities have been risk assessed and coaches are first aid trained and DBS checked. Food will be provided by our café operators, Home Grown Brixton. What to Bring Please have your child arrive ready to play sports outdoors as our changing rooms will be available for toilets only. We will be outside for at least some of the day, weather permitting, so please make sure they’re prepared and a water bottle is always a good idea!

Fun & Engagement Introduce a variety of sports and recreational activities to spark interest and enjoyment. Encourage creativity and self-expression through free play and interactive challenges. Provide opportunities for relaxation and mindfulness to balance activity with well-being.
Eligibility Criteria
Lambeth HAF-funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals and attend a school in Lambeth. (Please note, this is different to universal free school meals that are available to all school-aged children). Each child can book up to 16 sessions this summer with any provider.
