What we'll do
""My First Art Class" is a joyful, hands-on art experience designed for young children ages 4 to 6 and their parents or guardians. Each one-hour session invites families to work side-by-side, creating colorful and exciting art projects that encourage creativity, imagination, and fine motor development. Together, children and adults will explore new materials, techniques, and ideas in a supportive, playful environment — building confidence and strengthening bonds through shared artistic discovery. Weekly Activities Include: ? Finger Painting Fun Children will dive into finger painting, experimenting with colors, textures, and patterns. Parents will join in to help guide color mixing and creative expression. ?️ Texture Exploration Station Young artists will explore a variety of tactile materials — like fabric, sandpaper, cotton balls, and bubble wrap — and use them to create unique mixed-media collages. ? Sponge Stamping Using different shapes and sponge tools, children will learn basic printing techniques, creating fun patterns, simple designs, and playful animal shapes with a little help from their grown-ups. ? Bubble Wrap Painting Kids will roll paint onto bubble wrap and press it onto paper to create exciting textures and colorful prints, learning about cause-and-effect through sensory play. ? Pom-Pom Roll Painting In this high-energy art activity, kids will roll colorful, paint-soaked pom-poms across large paper surfaces to design dynamic, abstract works of art.
